”The hotel looks spectacular when you arrive. On check-in the staff were polite, seemed a little fed up everyday thereafter. The restaurant is something that should be avoided at all costs unless you like eating uninspiring, bland overpriced food (£60 for 2 people and I would have expected something that looked and tasted like some heart had gone into it). Best option was the pub at the end of the drive or a takeaway!!
Breakfast was free - that was nice because I would not have paid for it!

”We were not told there would be a wedding in progress so the music was quite loud until 11pm.
There was no option for early takeaway breakfast at 8am, and no option for room only.
The restaurant still set up for wedding, with chairs stacked up.The female staff in the restaurant were very nice and the food excellent, something a bit different.
Our shower head kept falling down & the toilet flush handle broken.
The room was spotlessly clean.”

”We had a really nice stay, and the staff were excellent, as was the food. Our room was in the oldest part of the Grade 2 listed building so there were some low doorframes & plenty of stairs, but I would stay here again & it's in an excellent location (with off-street parking) for exploring the area.”

”Convenient overnight stop when visiting our daughter. Car park is large but there are lots of larger vehicles that double park making it tight for others. It's clean, comfortable bed, good shower but you can hear everything from surrounding rooms...sneezing, coughing, burping, snoring, use your imagination!!”

”We had a fantastic stay here in one of the new deluxe rooms. The room was incredibly comfortable, very well furnished and spotlessly clean with a large bathroom. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good with a nice selection of hot dishes (special praise for the eggs benedict) alongside fruit juices, pastries, yogurt etc. We also had an evening meal in the pub which was again very nice. The pub is conveniently located a few minutes from the Bath park and ride. We'd...
