”Great location in the countryside. Very peaceful. Facilities were good. Good pubs down the road. The host was very friendly and helpful.”

”This place is a little gem. A great deal of thought has gone into the rooms, everything you need for a comfortable stay. The rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean. Very welcoming staff who clearly want the guests to have an enjoyable stay. Both dinner and breakfast were excellent, with plenty of choice. Would definitely stay again.”

”The hotel was in a great location for the town and plenty of free parking outside. We stayed in a standard family room 108. We stayed in the summer and the room was sweltering. You can hardly open the windows so there is no air circulating and no air conditioned. They did supply a tiny fan but it didn't really help. The bed and towels were very clean. But the overall room felt dusty and old and could do with some work. There were stains all over the walls and ceiling, the paintwork and walls...

”Initially we were not impressed with this property. No reception, just a voice at the end of a phone. We never got a "check-in" email, which should have come prior to arrival. We eventually managed to get in the building after 40 minutes. That was the only negative as or room was great, very spacious with clean towels, kettle and fridge, filled with what we needed for breakfast the following morning, which we used in the lovely kitchen the day after. I would recommend this property. ...

”Lovely hotel in a fabulous quiet location. We stayed for 4days the food was good but the menu didn't change in the time we were there, so not a lot of choice. Having said that the area has a number of good eating places nearby. Staff hard working and attentive. Would definitely stay again.”
