”The hotel is close to the airport and the shuttle was great. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was self serve, from a buffet with bread, coffee, bagels, etc. Good to have if you're really hungry. Bed was fine but bedding was thin and itchy. Sink in room would not drain. Tub was cleaned and shower worked fine. There was a hair dryer, shampoo and conditioner.”

”I appreciated that the owner let us check in early, and the coffee area and yogurt juice water are appreciated. My negatives: bed very uncomfortable with a terrible mattress, no insulation so sound from other guests very noisy, other guests talking until very late on the deck was very inconsiderate, we had to be up at 5 and they were up till well after midnight. I woke up with a sore stiff back and no sleep and quite grumpy (my husband not impressed at all). Also the bathroom sink is plugged.”

”We stayed here one night for my daughter’s birthday. The room was clean and if we needed anything we could just text the front desk and they brought it right up to us. Very friendly staff and great service. The pool is very nice. My daughter loved the water slide the most.”

”The pictures don’t tell the truth our room was crowded no table double bed to close to the wall loose electrical wires open in view of room the place is dated even with new renovations poor parking onsite checking in the person was rude and after checking our room out says if don't take till be charge for 2 nights anyway never again we’ll stay at this over priced hotel”

”Located just a bit north of Halifax, the setting is like you a million miles away. You are about 20 minutes to Halifax, less than an hour to Peggy's Cove, but the setting is so tranquil you might just want to sit on the wharf by the lake. Great breakfast and wonderful host.”

”The building itself was lovely, and the decor was beautiful. We stayed in the Sunrise suite and were surprised at JUST how how open the door plan was - there was no partition whatsoever between bedroom and bathroom, and had a full view of toilet and shower from our bed. This would be a lovely room for a single person, but an awkward setup for two people, as there was no privacy for bathroom use. The kitchen and shared space was comfortable and beautifully designed with lots of plants and...
