”Liked because, being a single woman there, the staff were friendly and helpful, the property was clean and the food was good, and I felt safe.”

”Angel Inn is close to the centre of Petworth, the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and spacious, the bed was very comfortable, the bathroom had a large modern bath and separate shower and everything was very clean. We appreciated the teapot in the room and selection of teas, also the complimentary flapjack. We ate in the restaurant area of the inn and had an excellent meal. ”

Service was impeccable during my whole stay, in the bar, the breakfast and especially in the reception. The location is the best possible; by the sea and buses leave 50 m from the doorstep. The only thing that disturbed me was that the room was pretty warm although I slept with the windows open. There was a fan, but at...

”The room was very clean
Bed was good but could feel the springs a bit, although comfortable enough to sleep on
The food was excellent especially the Sausage and Mash and the Steak and Ale Pie, good portion sizes, very friendly staff.”
