”The property is decorated traditionally which we loved. The amenities are lovely..bathrobes, slippers, chocolates ,cookies and Occitane bath products. The check in was swift..but because I booked using Expedia they put me down as an American. This did not sit well with me.”

”We (2) stayed in the comfort room for 8 days. When we first got here, we were a little disappointed with not having a standing shower in the room but overtime we made it work! The room itself was really clean and housekeeping came every single day. The staff here are incredibly kind and provided us with everything we asked for. The breakfast was 10/10 every single day. We couldn't be more happy. It's very quiet too. We will definitely come back here again. So thankful for the staff here, truly....

”We upgraded to the penthouse suite and loved it! The patio and 180 degree view of the harbour was one of the best views we’ve experienced. We loved the location and how the restaurants were so close, we’ll definitely return.”

Room decore is modern and full size kitchen. The lobby had beautiful pond with fishes. Lovely coffee shop that is open late 7am to 9pm. Free parking lot in the garage of the hotel. ”Staff at the front desk was exceptional! Super friendly and ready to greet you and help you the moment they see you. Bike storage was just an old garage, but we felt it was very secure. Hard to find hotels in Victoria that allow e-bikes. Quaint and old fashioned, great vibe if you love older buildings. We liked the Emily Carr artwork and the antique furniture in the lobby. Had some great beers in the pub. Distance to downtown was fine. Only a few blocks to the Parliament and the Empress....

”I enjoyed the experience of a well maintained heritage building and bright open large rooms filled with antiques and new luxury mattresses. The breakfast room was a perfect Victorian vintage theme in a room with stained glass window toppers and a view over looking the ocean. English garden flowers growing in the grounds and only a short walk to the park the ocean or a local grocer. Perfect romantic delightful stay.”

”I was not expecting such a beautiful old house. There was no TV in the bedroom or fridge or anything like that, but it honestly wasn't needed. This is an experience, not just an accommodation. I was only here for one night but I loved it so much and hope to return soon. Check in was little confusing as there is no front desk, but nothing I couldn't figure out.”
