”The hotel is a bit dated but some upgrades have been done like adding lots of receptacles. The walls are very thin and you can hear everything going on in the hallway. The location was good, close to lots of stores. There is no breakfast available and the restaurant on site opens at 10am, so be sure to grab some goodies. The kitchenette is a nice touch to cover that.”

”Stayed here for 4 days and 3 nights. The room was clean but only the carpet is a bit dirty,whenever i requested for a service they dont vacuum the floor. Also, don't change the air-conditioned setting to auto cool when i did it went hot in the middle of the night about 25C and i was sweaty. Bathroom was clean and the toiletries were refilled every time. Since it is in downtown, the neighborhood was quite scary, mostly those doing some illegal drgs. ”the only recommendation I would say is to try and get a room on the higher floors. We were on the 2nd floor and the bar patrons outside could get a little loud.”

”On arrival, terrible room. Right next to the house keeping supplies, but had a great view of the roof. Had to call or go down to front desk for maintenance. The safe didn’t work, the coffee pot was broken and didn’t work, there was no remote for the tv, the breaker kept tripping so had to go out and switch it if we wanted to use more than two things at a time and the so called AC was terrible, room was so hot. They had to bring up a fan. I have stayed there before, it was great. I don’t know...

”Pro tip. Parking is a nightmare on site with extremely tight spaces! Park in the City of Victoria public parking underneath the library. It’s free after 8 pm and if you take a photo of your stall, you can use the City of Victoria parking app and pay for parking from the comfort of your hotel room starting at 8 am. The max for parking in that lot is $12.50 per day but there are no in and out privileges. Parking is very expensive in the city.”

”The hotel was in an area with lots of homelessness and drugs. That’s what you saw when you looked out the window. They don’t clean rooms unless you ask. Our toilet was not working on the first day, we had to contact the 4 times to fix it in 5 days stay. We found bed bugs the last day prior to leaving and the employees were arguing with us about them. They would not tell us who owned the hotel or let us talk with the manager. It is disgusting that if people from other countries go to Victoria for...
