”Room was clean, well maintained, nice hot shower & comfy bed. Tea, coffee, biscuits and a decent size cup are always a plus !
Solo female travelling for work. Only stayed for one night but had everything I needed. Felt reasonably safe.
Only issue was the 2nd cottages directions sign was on the right hand side of road & obscured by a tree branch, so I didn’t see it & my sat nav took me left at the end of the rd & up a very tight private road to a bungalow based on the post code.
Not ideal …....

”It had everything we needed for a one nights stay. The only thing we couldn’t find was the switch for the heating as we did need to take the chill off now it’s getting cooler. Despite the fire alarm going off and no one knowing what to do at 5am we had a pleasant stay”

”We had a lovely stay in this house near Caerphilly Castle. Train station only a 10 minute walk. Communication with owner was excellent! When we had some questions he answered really quick and accurate. For a really tall Dutch family the shower was rather small, but we managed. Some parts of the house need attention, but the interior decorating was nice. The chairs in the garden are really comfortable. We would love to come back for another visit to Cardiff.”

”What an amazing Place. Amazing Hosts. Beautiful Scenery and Loads of horses around the property which my children loved.
Elsa and her husband were incredible and so welcoming and genuinely nice people and checked wverything was OK for us and left us enjoy our time. The Cottage had lovely grounds and a lovely well kept secure garden for the dogs. The family are lovely.
One of my dogs had a incident we had to nip out and left them briefly alone in cottage (we broke the rules) but he knocked the...

”My friends and I stayed at La Cantera for four nights and we could not stop talking about how perfect everything was! Not only did it have a stunning view, but the property itself was equipped with everything you could ever need- comfy beds & blankets, a variety of games, a TV, a fab shower in the bathroom, a hot tub... and loads of tea and coffee! From the location, we were able to travel by both car and train to the nearby Merthyr Tydfil and a little further down south to Cardiff; it made for a...

”We stayed in this beautiful farmhouse for my 50th birthday get together. The hosts really have thought of everything. Cold sitting outside? The hosts have provided blankets, towels for the hot tub are stacked in the boot room nearest to the hot tub. Children attending are fantastically catered for with a range of indoor and outdoor games (we packed some but didn't need them). Holiday reads are neatly stacked if you forget your book, there's a doll's house for younger children. Outside there is a...
