”Hotel is in great location, 2’ walk from the cove and close to all walking trails. Parking is easy (£5 per day). View from the balcony was great. Room was big and clean, although quite noisy (old building). Decoration is very charming, ‘beachcomber style’. Very friendly staff. Shower had only warm to hot water. We did not get roomkeeping during our 2 night stay, which is a bit weird in a 4* hotel. We didn’t bother too much and just asked refillments at the bar. Dinner in the restaurant was ok...

”It's a beautiful old house and nicely located within walking distance of restaurants and pubs. Plenty of parking in the back. The staff are great - friendly and helpful. My only complaint was with the shower controls! After fiddling with them for quite some time, I finally managed to get water at a reasonable temperature to flow from the shower head rather than in the tub, but even now I don't think I could repeat the process.”

”Parking at back behind pub. Easy check in. Lovely helpful staff. Clean room, comfy beds. Only recommendation is about the doors- our opposite neighbour went in and out a lot during the night and doors were very noisy as they stuck slightly so had to slam them. Otherwise lovely stay. ”

Only things that would have got a better rating was having someone there when I arrived.i waited a while at check in and I had a ground floor room with a table right outside my window that smokers were using.”
