Great for get away, family gathering, or a day away from the city! Great for weddings as it’s on 3.5 acres.

Please rest assured we are taking extreme precautions to ensure our guests arrive to a clean, safe and worry free environment and we humbly request our arriving guest return the same courtesy to us and future guest.

Linens and towels are supplied based upon the amount of guests.
Base price for this home includes 4 guests, each additional guest is $29 per night.
You will be charged for missing items and or any damage that occurs during your stay.

Plenty of beds, but could have used a good vacuuming before we arrived. We used it for overflow guests so didn't spend a lot of time there other than to sleep.

We had a thanksgiving dinner at the cabin and struggled to have some basic cooking needs. No measuring cups/spoons. A front burner on the stove didn't work. It seemed like the cookware was old and just leftovers from home that no one wanted any more. It would have been nice to have an electric hand beater, a blender or some other applicances. Cleanliness. An old rag was behind the main bathroom door, we think to prevent the door knob hitting the wall. Bathroom rugs were kind of gross. A child found under an upstair bed an open can of beer half full. That was distrubing. The basement toilet was not very stable to sit on. It moved. The Kitchen table was great with the benches and could fit alot of people. The coffee table was pretty, but dangerous with children around. It had sharp edges so we moved it to a bedroom. The fireplace didn't work, just used the fake fireplace heater to warm the room. It would have been nice to have a chair in a bedroom or something to sit on besides a bed in the basement. Other VRBO houses I've stayed at had some other things besides a TV or a board game to entertain. I could have paid more to have toys, or high chair, that is kind of ridiculous when you pay so much to stay. And being Indiana in the winter we got 6 inches of snow and there was no snow shovel to help with cleaning off the stairs, or help to get cars out. Plenty of beds and private rooms for families to stay with their own children. Won't stay again though.

This is a great property! We stayed here for my husband’s birthday and the Purdue football game. Getting an Uber here was very easy. Great common space for gathering. Kitchen could use pots and pans for a larger crowd, but we made it work. Lots of beds and dishes. Great location where we didn’t feel like we were disturbing anyone with kid noise or our laughter. Very peaceful and able to disconnect. Thank you.

Purdue Acre Project Trip

Shower in basement is plumbed backwards. So hot was cold and cold was hot. Shower on main floor was confusing how to use. I would recommend updating faucet. Driveway by road is kind of dangerous we could hardly see traffic to the north because of trees. Driveway also needs stone added at road. We were driving trucks so it was ok, but cars would potentially drag bottom. Otherwise, our stay was fine.

Graduation Home Base

Our daughter was graduating from Purdue so we needed a place large enough to host family of 12 flying in. This place was perfect! Only a short drive to campus and comfortable space for all. My parents do not do well with stairs so it was great to have a room for them on main floor. Love the basement -great for the teens and young adults. Casey and Erin were wonderful and easy to communicate with. We had everything we needed for a memorable and special getaway celebration.

The cabin is as pictured. The location was great and it was really nice to be able to get away with friends and family for a night. The only problem was that the shower downstairs didn’t have hot water.

The cabin is nice. The host responded quickly when i reached out to him. Plenty of sleeping space for the 8 of us who stayed the night. Some of our friends commented that during the night they could hear everytime someone moved around in the cabin. A larger dining table would be nice to accommodate the 10 people we had at dinner.

Nice stay

We were a large group from out of town for our son’s wedding. Easier to have us all together than spread out in a hotel. Plenty of towels, coffee maker worked and the fridge also. It’s close to town, easy to navigate area. Nice that we weren’t right on top of other people. Plenty of parking also.

Quick Response and Action

When we arrived, the water was turned off. We turned it on and discovered a major leak in a water line, so we turned it back off. We got ahold of the owner and he had a plumber there within an hour to fix it. Beds were comfortable.
