”Nice quiet room with shower. Freshly decorated and overall an enjoyable stay. Food was excellent, as was the staff who were friendly and helpful. Thank you.”

”I arrived at the Horse and Jocky and I was surprised to hear that it was Karaoke night and it was well liked bye many, it was Friday night and it's let your hair down time, it was a change to have so many people who just turned up to sing and enjoy the evening, I was an outsider but I didn't feel it.”

”Un accueil très chaleureux par les propriétaires du lieu qui s’occupent eux-mêmes des chambres, très propres.”

”From start to finish it was a delightful stay, it had a lot of charm and we loved the chickens and goats the breakfast was great with all that you needed and more, the host was lovely and we enjoyed our stay, l will recommend this place to everyone at your club and we will return in the future. ”Lindas instalaciones, amabilidad del personal del hotel.”

”I had liver and onions for evening meal. It was over cooked as the liver was crumbling as I ate it. The bed was uncomfortable ..mattress was cheap and the bed wobbled every time you moved keeping my wife awake as I moved in the night. Sue, manager was brilliant , very attentive and polite.”

”Great stay, friendly and helpful staff, would definitely stay again and would highly recommend”

”Ideal for what we wanted. Breakfast was really good too.”

”Another amazing stay at Ye Old bell ❤️”

”Great location, bar and restaurant staff were friendly, bar and restaurant area was decorated fabulously for Halloween. The room unfortunately had a lingering smell from what I believe were the drains in the bathroom. Check in was not particularly warm or welcoming. Room decor feels out of place with the history of the building.”

”Good location, clean place.”

”Staff were friendly who we saw. Very limited parking even street parking is limited due to permits needed. No breakfast even though it stated breakfast. Rooms could do with an update. Bar area is nice to have a drink and can imagine in the summer would be a great place ”

”Nice location in the open air, the lodge was ok, not posh and luxury, needs a bit of tlc ”
