”Reasonably priced big room with all amenities needed Only criticism would be the info on the website is wrong as said we had till 11pm to check in but we were out and they rang and said they actually close at 10 so we had to rush to get there ”

”Booked as got stuck on the A303, nice staff, great breakfast and hard to argue with the price. My only minor criticism is being 6’3 the light they’d fitted to the single room was basically at face height so I cracked my head a couple of times getting in and out of bed. Otherwise would recommend for a cheap stay.”

”Easy to find and had plenty of parking when I arrived. Communication for check in and check out was very good. The ensuite room was great - very clean, nice temperature, and very well-appointed. The lodge does not offer breakfast or dining but is just a 5 minute walk into the city centre. Overall it was great value - can highly recommend and would return. ”

”What an absolute treat The Red Lion is. I went of pervious reviews and it didn’t disappoint. In fact it exceeded my expectations, what a gem of a place. The Staff were simple amazing, David and Jasmine were fantastic and always on hand of we needed anything. The rooms are so comfortable and modern, the Breakfast was fabulous and the food in the pub was outstanding. My only problem is that I won't have the homemade biscuits that were in the room, tonight with my cuppa tea when i am at home.”

”It has only been 2 months since my last stay here and it was as good as ever. Staff as always were really friendly and make you feel at home. I had a thoroughly enjoyable evening meal as well as a great breakfast. A decent night's sleep set me up for the day and I look forward to coming back here.”

”Our hosts Sarah & Andy could not have been more welcoming - absolutely wonderful, friendly people who went out of their way to look after us. English breakfast was superb with fresh #Farm local eggs & all the trimmings. Lovely to hear owls hoot at night & bird song in the morning. The night skies full of stars. Our room & shower were spotless! Well done 🙌”
