ARTISTIC LOG CABIN, yksityinen ja rauhallinen. Aseta täydellinen maalaistalo, jossa on hedelmäpuita, marjoja, puutarhoja ja luonnollisesti rivimaastoa. Metsien ja vanhojen laitumien ympärillä linnut julistavat aamun auringonnousun. Kauniit näkymät lukuisista ikkunoista ja kuistilta talon molemmin puolin; myös suuri liuskekivi patio, joka on täydellinen kokki out. Täysin varusteltu keittiö, jossa astianpesukone, mikroaaltouuni ja kaksi uunia. Mökissä mahtuu 8 henkilöä, makuuhuoneessa oma kylpyhuone, toisessa makuuhuoneessa on yksi parivuode, yksi sänky ja toinen sänky makuuhuoneen parvella (jota lapset rakastavat). Kolmannessa makuuhuoneessa on yksi parivuode. Neljännessä makuuhuoneessa on yksi parivuode ja yksi sänky. Auringonhuoneessa on kaksi sohvaa, jotka kaksinkertaistuvat vuoteiksi. Makuuhuoneet ja kaksi kylpyhuonetta ovat yläkerrassa, yksi kylpyhuone on ensimmäisessä kerroksessa. Mökki on omistajan rakentama lähinnä uudelleen käytetyistä tai paikallisista materiaaleista, joita löytyy ympäröivistä metsistä. Jokainen kylpyhuone on ainutlaatuinen taideteos, etkä ole koskaan nähnyt tällaista takkaa! Mökki on tarkoitettu olemaan esimerkki siitä, kuinka kaunis, mukava ja toimiva talo voidaan rakentaa murto-osa kustannuksista mielikuvitustasi käyttämällä. 180 dollaria per yö, vähintään 2 yötä korkeintaan 4 vieraan perusteella, ylimääräinen vieras 35 dollaria per yö.
Mökki on luonteeltaan taiteellista ja maalaismaista, ja jotta voitaisiin vedota näihin ihanteisiin, tiettyjä turvallisuusnäkökohtia ei ole kaitekorkeuden ja etäisyyden suhteen, askelmat sisälle ja ulos ovat epäsäännölliset, parvekkeet sisälle ja ulos, terassit ja kuistit sekä ympäröivä maasto ovat kaikki luonnonmukaisia eivätkä ole pienille lapsille turvallisia. Magical Cabin

This place was simply magical and comfortable to stay. We barely scratched the surface of the amenities like the fireplace and grills but the beds were comfy, the modern heat kept us warm, and the kitchen was easy to use for preparing food. The scenery is gorgeous and it’s quiet and peaceful! I had an enjoyable time walking my dog at night and seeing all the stars out! Rik is an amazing host and like other reviews have said, he greets you with fresh bread which was delicious! He takes the time to walk you through all the ins and outs and is always accessible if you need assistance. Wonderful place to stay and close by to beautiful sights in VT. Loved our weekend getaway!

Awesome Rustic Adventure

We felt very welcome and enjoyed every moment. Rik is an awesome host and the property is unique and fun! It is a large chunk of mountainside with the owner’s (amazing) home, this rental, and a complex of tree-houses. Be prepared for a long, hilly dirt road up to the property. I was very glad I borrowed an AWD vehicle for the trip.

Rik was the perfect host, his homemade bread was the best I have ever had, and his cabin is absolutely amazing. Everything was perfectly clean and set up like we were at home. His craftiness is impressive and the property is very private. Would 100% recommend!

The Pictures only show so much because the cabin was even better in person!! What a great place and the bathrooms are so unique and cool! We ad a wonderful time and the owner was so friendly and hospitable! Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet peaceful getaway!

Special Experience

Great getaway!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Amazing quiet location in the Vermont woods near the Green Mtns. Rik, the owner, is super cool and even made us a fresh loaf of bread! Kitchen was fabulous and the cabin was very comfortable and homey. I highly recommend it for a quiet getaway. Five stars for sure!

A cosy retreat

We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful and unusual house. It is very cosy with a lot of artistic touches. There is a wonderful harmony between the house and the nature around it. It is perfect as a quiet and cosy retreat. There is a very beautiful and easy walking trail just near the house. We walked a lot, admired beautiful fall foliage, visited a few quaint towns nearby. Rick was an admirable host — very friendly with a lot of local knowledge.

Great Cabin in the Woods

This was a beautiful cabin settled on a private landscape. We were able to bring our 2 large dogs and they happily pranced along the grounds enjoying the fall foliage. Rik was an exceptional host (loved the homemade bread) and was available to us if we needed him. I would definitely stay here again! I

Special Getaway

What an unusual and special place! When we arrived we were greeted by Rik, who was so personable and gracious. He gave us suggestions and information about the area and his hospitality included homemade, delicious bread, fresh eggs and fruit - such a treat! The house is a work of art incorporating the vast property's available wood and stone. It was comfortable for 5 adults and you had the sense you were immersed in the forest - the smells, the birds, the beauty. If you are looking for a hotel-like experience, you may not choose this property, but if you are looking to get away from it all and needing to refresh with positive energy, this home provides a rustic, peaceful stay.

Magical, quiet woods retreat

We had a great stay at this cabin and the property. It's everything the write up says and then some. The owner is a true craftsman with an eye for creativity and for bringing the outside in. I wish I had taken a photo of my review that I left him handwritten in his leather bound book to share with you here. He has thought of everything to provide a peaceful, calm and tranquil getaway. There is so much wildlife to be seen and heard. The cabin is rustic and gave me Hobbit and fairytale vibes. We absolutely loved it and our 7 year old son Elliott gave it a 15 out of 10, ha!

amazing whimsical cabin

We loved staying at this cabin. The details are so beautiful. The cabin is charming and has a lovely view. It wasn't hard to get to, but it was perfectly secluded. I'm so glad we stayed here and if we come back to the area, we are definitely going to stay here again.

Cool nature-thematic cabin

The house is very cool with nature themed thing incorporated into the features like a cave bath and a "tree house" bed loft you get to by climbing a branch ladder. You can tell the owner put a lot of care and effort into the place, he is a very nice and friendly person who offered us bread and eggs from his farm.

Rik's cabin is nothing short of perfect. Nestled on 85+ acres of the Vermont countryside, the property is like a fairy tale land brought to life - treehouses, a hobbit house, and even a dragon chimney! It's magical. We spent our days exploring the property, sitting by the fire, and just disconnecting from our busy lives. My only complaint is that we didn't stay longer. Thanks to Rik for making us feel welcome and being an attentive host! We'll definitely see you again soon.
