”Absolutely perfect getaway for a weekend. Cottage is so warm and inviting and smells like a cottage in the woods should! We loved the music upstairs and down, walks to the pond and beyond, and the amazing jacuzzi. We will definitely be back - what a perfect way to spend our 25th anniversary. We would love to read more about the history of the building/land if available!”

”I absolutely loved my stay at the Red Cottage and it is my favorite place that I've stayed while visiting Wilmington. Peaceful, plenty roomy, less than 10 minutes to town and even closer to the lake. I have Celiac so have to bring items like a toaster to avoid cross-contamination but the kitchen has everything you need for your stay. The team was super responsive even before my stay. Highly recommend and look forward to my next visit! ”

”I was a solo traveler because my companion had to change plans, so I had the benefit of complete piece of mind at this place, and more room than I needed. It really is a beautiful place with a nice view. Very quiet and peaceful, it was a nice location to get away from the city. Only 4 minutes from Rock River, so that was a nice bonus. I'm looking forward to returning here in the future for sure ”

”Absolutely perfect. We have stayed in SO many rentals and this was by far our favorite. The koi pond right next to the house was truly amazing. The dogs were enthralled by the koi fish (and so were we, honestly). The house itself is adorable and very comfortable. Jeremy is a phenomenal host and clearly takes pride in what he does. The chicken coop and area behind the house and pond are also beautiful and fun to wander. Equinox pond is down the street and lye Brook falls hike is a very short...
