”Ivy Cottage was definitely one of the nicest cottages I have ever stayed in. It was clean, cosy, warm, spacious, well-equipped and very comfortable. And the village is lovely too.”

”This is a lovely cottage and very cosy and warm. It's also near lots of attractions. It was very nice to be able to take my friend's dog who seemed to enjoy herself too. The main door was quite hard to lock and unlock as it's stiff but I broke my right wrist in August so that probably didn't help matters. The owners were very helpful. I would definitely recommend the cottage to others and I would certainly revisit myself.”

”The owners have done a fantastic job in converting the lambing shed into a cosy & comfortable holiday retreat. We went for Christmas week and not only was the cottage super clean but they had also spent considerable time putting up a wonderful Christmas tree & Christmas decorations. The log fire was a real treat and we were very grateful to have a tour of the farm. Highly recommended.”

”It’s a lovely place to stay if you like walking a lot. It’s a short drive to local places of interest. The hosts are lovely and very accommodating. The ladder up to the bedroom is quite a quirky feature. Overall it’s a lovely cosy base to explore from.”

”We loved our stay at Merryview, the location is stunningly beautiful! The bungalow was warm and inviting, everything was lovely and clean and the beds were very comfy. Kitchen and laundry facilities were excellent and the little welcome pack was a lovely thought. If you're looking for a quiet, rural, undisturbed stay we can definitely recommend!”
