”A small privately owned hotel, good situation for a visit to Saltaire. Many people arrived by train which was a short walk away. The owner was very helpful, even writing us a map to Saltaire.”

”My room looked like they had just changed the bedding and even that had black hairs on it (im fair haired). Hairs in the bath , toothpaste all up the bathroom mirror and on the floor like it had dripped out of someones mouth and dried. Should have read the reviews . Wont make that mistake again.”

”Staff were very helpful at reception and in the restaurant. Lovely breakfast and plenty of choice. Food was also very good. Would recommend to friends.Our room was very small and wardrobe was not tall enough to hang clothes.”

”Overall a lovely stay. Our room was large, clean & comfortable with a balcony overlooking the front garden area. Good to have a fridge in the hot weather. We also appreciated the USB ports & other amenities. Comfortable armchairs & a comfotable bed, although the bedding was a little excessive for the hot weather - easy to remove the top layer though. The lovely bathroom was also a good size with a seperate bath & shower. Our only frustration was the early morning traffic noise - we had to open...

”Great hotel, room great , facilities great. The breakfasts well worth the money. Only thing could improve is the check in staff check out staff got the impression didnt really want to be there, didnt really want to help, apart from that perfect stay.”

”Staff and room were lovely and the breakfast was excellent. Comfortable bed. There's some design flaws, for example you can't fill the kettle up at the sink without the water coming out as you try to extract it. Nothing major though. It's not that pet friendly. It would have been nice to have a drink in the bar but that would have meant leaving the dog in the car so we went somewhere else for a drink.”

”We've stopped at the The Yorkshire twice now, we stopped in a double room which was clean but rather small and basic. We decided to go for a deluxe double which was much bigger and views over the front of the hotel which was nice as before we had an internal view of other rooms. The iron was basic but also leaked water, the shower water flow was very slow that I joked it would be better to have a bucket of water thrown over you. We did notice to the rear of the hotel where you can sit and enjoy...

”Was sent away and had a hard night due to a surprise £100 deposit that’s never listed which gets returned 4-5 working days later . I asked for a refund of the room and was denied and sent away. Very horrible hotel Would sue”

”Our family room was very big with lots of room. The bar was also very good with good food and a good selection of beer. Very family friendly with lots of room for my 4 year old son to explore. Will definitely go again”
