”Room was absolutely dirty, the floors were sandy, found a pair of women’s underwear in the corner as well. The walls appeared to be dirty at the tops as well, the AC needed a filter to be replaced. The bathroom was stocked with one roll of toilet paper. Would not recommend this motel to anyone. We thought we were saving money booking this motel… spend the extra few bucks to get a hotel.”

”The hosts, Greg and Linda were just the nicest people! The view from the porch was... a million dollar view! We fell asleep in the hammock swing the first night. The breeze kept it cool and mosquito free. We will definitely be going back.”

”We were next to the laundry room. There was a loud sound coming through the bathroom all night, pipes over the shower, sounded like water was being poured in the tub no hot water, no shower. You could not pull the. Lever to start a shower the water was lukewarm couldn’t get any hotter. The staff was nice, but we had to change hotels and get our money back.”

”Air conditioner was great, parking was great, the room had kitchenette with hot plate and cooking dishes. We had a dog with us. There were extra towels, coffee supplies in office entrance. Ice machine was good. A lot of stores, restaurants and even the Heart of Manteo festival park within short walking distance.”

”This hotel was a nice find, excellent quality for the price. The building is a bit run down outside, but we were there off-season and it seemed there was a lot of maintenance going on. The room was very clean and spacious and the bed was extremely comfortable. They even served a breakfast, which was adequate. The location is wonderful, right next to the beach!”

”Our room was a little outdated but super clean. The balcony on the third floor had an outstanding view of the ocean. Definitely worth the trip.”

”Close to beach, central location to all of the OBX. 7 eleven just a 5 min walk away. Steps away from beach. Fridge and microwave in room. Room on the smaller side but still comfortable for 2 adults and 1 teen. We stayed in 2 bed courtyard view room. Free parking, but spaces can fill up in the high season. We always found a spot, but at times it was the only spot available and could get pretty tight. Staff seemed friendly and available if needed. No security deposit charged to card. Best...

”This was an amazing experience for myself, daughter, son in law and my just turned 16 year old grandson. This was his birthday vacation we do every year if we can. House was extremely clean. Able to bring his dog Price for pet fee was really good Quite, able to walk across the street to the bay. Driving distance to everywhere and everything We are going to rent this house again and will do more then just 5 days!! I highly recommend, if you want a quieter spot away from the super busier...
