”The only issue we had was there was no one to check us in, The contact numbers we had no one answered. We actually felt like we were trespassing. After driving around for an hour someone finally returned our call & messages and arranged to meet us. We had almost given up & were going to go home. Having said that we ended up having a really enjoyable stay :)”

”A very nice B&B in a peaceful location and a pub is just a walking distance away! There is a court yard within the compound where one can relax. We enjoyed our one night stay here and enjoyed our full English breakfast. Thank you.”

Our bath panel had been severely damaged by water and whilst the aircon cooling worked well it was like having a tractor in the room! ”I stayed one night to catch an early morning flight. Checked in after 9pm and out at 5am. There was air con and it was lovely. The room is nice with a double and single bed which were clean and comfortable. The bathroom let it down as it needs some modernising, but was ok”

”Stayed 2 nights visiting family. Ate breakfast and evening meals each day of our stay. Beds so comfortable, air con worked well, quiet room. Restaurant was excellent, food very reasonably priced, served up quickly by very very friendly staff. The Manager and Bar Manager were fantastic a credit to Marston’s. All the waiters and waitresses were amazing. Will definitely return.”

”We were put in the annex roof room which had suffered earlier water damage. While we understand that Victorian houses are not the same as today's the stairs were extremely narrow and dangerous, especially when carrying suitcases. The windows also need replacing, the double glazing was a manual effort”
