Hotellit lähellä kohdetta Whinfell Forest

”Food was exceptionally good with great choice. Staff pleasant and helpful.”

”Auton sai parkkiin kadunvarteen suoraan hotellin eteen. Hotellia vastapäätä on suklaatehdas, kannattaa vierailla.”

”Nice location (quite remote and quiet) and friendly staff. Some gaps in the breakfast service, e.g. lacking glasses, plates etc. And the breakfast ended already at 9 which was very early for me. The condition of the hotel was quite worn-out and occasionally dirty, there were several spiderwebs and spiders in the hallway and the smell of our room was musty. ”

”Lovely house with fab view of the Eden Valley.”

”We were walking the Pennine Way and stopped off at Bongate House after reaching Dufton and after walking/backpacking for most of the day. We had a very friendly welcome from Ann who on arrival looked after our every need. Breakfast was ample and tasty. The property suited our needs perfectly. Thank you Ann!”

”Lovely location right on the reservoir. Staff were all so friendly and accommodating. Food was beyond expectations and everyone was really impressed with dinner and breakfast.”

”Food was good. Luxury room was not luxurious. Very small. Carpets on stairs need seeing to as are a trip hazard. Bar area, windows need a very good clean! Cobwebs and dust must have been there quite a while.”

”This has to be the craziest room I've ever stayed in, in a good way. The floors were sloped the furniture was sloping in line with the floors. Bed comfy amd bathroom was nice and clean. If you are after a quirky stay then this place is for you.”

”Excellent breakfasts, well organised. Room clean and welcoming. Only issue was the parking which was a bit of a lottery”

”The room was gorgeous and Sue is the kindest person. Lots of attention to detail and the little things that make your stay special. One issue was low water pressure in the shower due to a temperamental electric device that runs the shower head.”

”We had an amazing stay at the hotel! The room was beautiful and the food there was amazing!!”

”Baari oli siisti ja henkilökunta siellä avuliasta ja ystävällistä. Huoneen kylpyhuoneessa laatat olivat haljenneet. Lämmin aamiainen oli kuiva, muutoin hyvä valikoima aamupalaa”

”Warm welcome and a clean and comfortable room in this friendly guest house a short walk from central Penrith. Great advice on transport from the owner and delicious breakfast served in our room. Nothing more needed for a relaxing stay.”

”Of course the setting is the main attraction. The hotel is is a beautiful, grand, rural home, set by the lake, so its location and views are exceptional. The hotel is a bit quirky and creaky as you would expect but some areas are tired and not as clean as they could be, sadly. The staff were polite and efficent enough but not especially engaging. That said we didnt really need anything, so our interactions were limited”
