”The cottage was our home away from home for a week while visiting our cousin who is going to school at UM in Ann Arbor. The home is a short drive (25-30 min) from the Big House, so it was perfect for a UM football weekend. If you're looking for a quiet escape with EVERYTHING you could think to need for a week on the lake, this is it. Our family of 5 had an amazing trip out from CA. Can't wait to be back.”

”This was a nice rental for our family trip to Detroit. It had all the things we needed-full kitchen with dishes, laundry, bathrooms as well as central air (we stayed in June 2023). It’s a historic house, so it has a different feel than a modern house, but it had all the amenities that were needed. The only thing that could be somewhat of an issue is the iron railings on the stairs for little ones or the elderly. A high chair or booster and or pack n play to use would have been a bonus, but we...

The place is great for seniors--only a few steps, a comfort height toilet, and a walk-in shower. The neighborhood was very safe, with single women walking and running by themselves & children playing outside, and with your vehicle parked right outside in the driveway. ”The place is fantastic and the location is in a great spot. So close to many things but the water is the best part. Lake living lives up to its promise in late summer here! The owner is an amazing host and superb communicator. This is our second visit to her location and it’s hard to say goodbye to the wonderfulness of her place and our old friends. Beds are comfy and the kitchen has everything you need.”
