”Clean room, friendly staff. A light breakfast that wasn't anything really special. Traffic in the area around the hotel can be intense, especially if you need to make a left turn on S. Pleasant Valley Road on the way out.”

”I can think of nothing to dislike about this extraordinary property. Beautiful, manicured lawns and gardens offering beautiful vistas and pathways. The main lodge and rooms are so beautifully decorated and the atrium and dining room are spectacular as is the food. Enjoyed sitting at the bar with a nice glass of wine and chatting with the knowledgeable, nice, young bartender. Staff is friendly and helpful all leading the visitor to a special experience.”

”The property seemed new. Clean rooms, comfortable bed, and nice breakfast. internet was a little shaky and the TV reception seemed to be very limited. No movie channels etc. Otherwise very handy location”

”Lovely Luxury with a spacious sunset suite. Very comfortable bed and sofa. Wish there were one or more sofa tables. staff were delightful, will definitely come again. Please add a cafe for guests not wanting a large expensive dinner. Breakfast Food was very good. Kitchen well equipped for beverage and snack storage, and very clean.”

”Great old hotel located in the downtown neighborhood. Room was large with a great bathroom. This is always our first choice when visiting Winchester”

”Facility appears “worn” with carpet needing to be replaced in hallways and bathroom was not as clean as it should have been. Breakfast was OK and staff there were very friendly and helpful”

”There is no restaurant. The lack of mirrors was irritating. There were hand mirrors in some rooms and not in others and they said they ran out. No fans in the bathrooms. Beds were nice.”

”Nice accommodations except there was no body wash in the shower, and I didn't notice until I was in there. Breakfast was okay, waffle mix was empty and had to wait until the desk person could get the kitchen worker to respond. The worst part was workers outside near the door smoking.”

”That staff was great , the room was good size . The li ens were nice and clean . Draw backs were the rug seemed dirty as was the microwave ( it had spilled food on the bottom and inside the door, so was not cleaned between guests)”
