”Everything was wonderful from the room, friendly staff and clean rooms and common areas.”

”The room was clean, comfortable and well stocked. There was no noise problems. Staff at check in were polite and provided. Breakfast on Friday was good. Breakfast on Saturday was not good. The trash was overflowing. The tables were not cleaned and restocking was not done. Several items were gone completely and some that were left were cold.”

”We stayed 3 nights and they did not clean our room once. The restaurant and pool was closed the whole time during our stay ”

”The hotel is well located and attractive. They don’t tell you in advance that you may not be able to park in their lot (with in-and-out privileges) and may have to park in the UM deck instead. Water pressure left something to be desired. It was crowded and hard to catch an elevator. Lots of high school kids stayed for competitions while we were there and it was very loud. They congregated in the halls without regard to other guests.”

”Ben at front desk was very kind and helpful when I had made a mistake with my booking date. Had to let water run for 15 min in shower before barely warm enough to shower. ”

”No hotel was dirty and poorly lit. It felt unsafe. The hot tub that i was told was working was taped off. You could smell smoke in the hallways. I could hear someone playing music with loud base and the room its self was dirty none of the lights were plugged in and furniture waa moved away from the wall where there was trash.”

”Staff is lovely and accommodating. I would have loved a coffee maker in the room, but otherwise really enjoyed our stay. Word to the wise - you WILL smack your head on the bunkbed frame.”

”The ALoft is great value, but unfortunately my room was subject to a lot of noise, adjacent to elevators and facing a busy street. Front desk staff were all terrific. Bathroom was clean. Room itself could have used better vacuuming; crumbs on carpet from previous guests. I appreciated the in-room coffee!”

”This apartment was pretty good overall. I had to pay from the parking garage every time I got in and out. There’s no privileges regarding parking. They 2 queen beds and fold out sofa. Mislead me by stating in the listing that it was a full twin bed. Not at all the same. Otherwise it’s roomy, clean, safe. Billiard pool room was cool. Didn’t use the swimming pool, but looked nice. ”

”We had booked a room with breakfast, but they forgot to give us breakfast coupons when we arrived. It wasn't big deal though, our waitress got one for us after we ate. There was a big storm during our stay, and the windows started leeking - half the carpet was soaked, but it didn't bother us. Location is nice, you can easily walk to Dinkytown and Downtown where all the restaurants are. In nearby blocks there's nothing much, but 10-20 min walk gets you about anywhere.”

”We would absolutely stay at this hotel again! The room and bathroom were huge and very comfortable for our family of 4. The room was very clean and had everything from robes, makeup mirror, coffee makers etc. The hotel was connected to the Target Centre and downtown stores which as amazing as it was cold and raining when we were in the city. Staff were amazing during check in and provided great info about the area. Excellent choice if you are staying in the city! ”
