”The back storage room was very moldy and gave my daughter horrible allergies. We were there for a soccer tournament. The directions to find the apartment were not accurate they gave me the wrong store fronts to look for. Also when I messaged questions it was over 12 hours before someone got back to me and it seemed like an agency that did not know the answers. It was a very convenient location and that part was wonderful.”

”Amazingly cute little cabin with a stone fireplace. So cozy and welcoming. Small but well defined areas made it very comfortable. Loved personal little touches like handwritten notes on how to work the TV, cleanup and welcome. Amazingly sweet porch with a “Welcome Gnome”, lights and chairs to enjoy the beautiful outdoor area. We were there in the rain which added its own charm but in the summer I bet the fire pits are magical.
Would definitely love to stay here again and for longer!!!!”

”I met both owners, Mary and Kevin. They are wonderful, friendly people. My room was so cozy and comfy, decorated beautifully, and the bathroom had everything I needed. Please use VRBO to book Village Hideaway, as Expedia does not make finding messages easy.”

”The room was very clean. The bathroom is teeny, but was also clean. We spent an hour trying to figure out how to get the TV to work, only to find out that the cable box needed to be rebooted. Also, we contacted the host directly - once via text and once via phone and he didn't get back to us either time. Lastly, when we booked this room we had no idea it was actually a motel room. We were in a building with multiple single rooms and it was very loud during the night with people coming in...

”The bathroom was very dirty, and we were not comfortable even using the shower. In addition, the front door does not lock at all, and we had to check in late due to the chalet not being ready. On the plus side, the beds were very comfy and the fireplace was a wonderful bonus. The chalet had a nice selection for tv channels. It needs some definite updating, but overall hosts did try to accommodate by offering us a free night- would recommend after renovations only. ”
