”Warm welcome from friendly staff, bedroom was spacious, clean and well equipped. Limited choice of breakfast, but it was freshly prepared, hot and delicious.”

”We had the attic room and it's very spacious. The bedroom has a huge bed that is not too soft and we slept like the dead. Dual aspect with sky lights. Fan and extra soft cuddly blankets if needed. Hairdryer, ironing board, iron and microwave. However, the fridge was the reason I booked. A seating area where you can chill without a TV on and a small book shelf with a wide variety of books. We were very pleasantly surprised. Lindsay, the owner is a lovely fellow and you could just stop and talk...

”Location on front good , breakfast good but checkout time 10am is far too early . Wifi is poor and area generally has poor mobile phone signal so you really are getting away from it ! we had dinner there one night , good , but expensive !”

”Firstly, I think you need to understand if you are staying here it is for an actual holiday not because you are working in the area because getting there is a trek as the road is very small. Secondly the only time I saw the host was when I first arrived and he told me breakfast was at 8am... so ofcourse I didn't get one, as I had to leave earlier than this and there's no other option. The inside looks a bit worn down but your room is to a degree of cleanliness. Also no locks on your door. Tbh...

”We have visited and stayed at the Jamaica Inn a number of times over the years but unfortunately this time we were left a bit disappointed. Not with the place or most of the staff themselves but with the entitlement of other visitors and patrons who bring their dogs into the establishment. Nearly all the dog owners were either having their dogs sitting where people need to walk, on long leads so they can roam or not on leads at all so they can roam anywhere. One even had her dog sitting on the...

”Loved the ‘Olde Worlde’ charm and history of the Inn, The only minor fault was that there were no leaflets of surrounding places of interest to visit. However we would would highly recommend This property. Thank you.”

”Room was good and very clean had a issue with the window that wouldn't close correctly so had some road noise. Staff were bringing and couldn't do enough for you and made you feel very welcome food was brilliant and well cooked ”
