The only downfall was that the hill is VERY steep to walk up, and as it had been raining it was VERY slippery on the pebblecrete and easy to fall. I slipped a couple of times, and my husband did also. I would suggest a little stair walkway or some other kind of material that isn’t so slippery. ”Our stay at Palm Bay was exceptional. It is simply magical. As Canadians, we pinched ourselves to see if it was real. VERY private location. Small capacity makes it feel very VIP and exclusive. It's a very private getaway with our own 2 bedroom bungalow on the beach. Palm Bay is absolutely a vibe. I'm so glad we opted to stay there rather than the overrun hotel style resorts on some of the neighbouring islands we visiated that have none of the private paradise feel of Palm Bay. ”AC was not functioning in the bedroom and it was boiling hot. This didn't get fixed during our 2-night stay. The resort has strong 1990s Torremolinos vibes (if you've been there as a kid, you will get this reference), but it's well kept and exceptionally clean. Great location, large functional rooms, good easy parking, pool views are as advertised. Overall I'd stay again for a short stay for the right price. 5min walk to the main street and all the shops etc - but it's a *very* steep uphill...

”An older motel but still with some water views. Situated just a short 5min walk from town and not uphill. 2 pools which both looked nice although too cold to try at the time. Include breakfast is only very basic continental however other option available to purchase. Did not dine in the restaurant but menu looked okay. Room was spacious and bed was comfortable. The blinds are the Venetian type and do not give any darkness once the sun is up. The shower did need a good clean with mould / scum...
