”We arrived around 4:30, the carpark was busy and the restaurant really busy - wasn’t an issue for us as we were going out. The reception is away from the hustle and bustle of the bar/ restaurant which was good. The room was big enough, but the beds are really small. My husband had to go and ask for another room (on his own) as the double was bearly wide enough for both of us, let alone long enough. … so if you are over 5’8 you will struggle. ”There is a large car park but it can get busy at peak times. Register your car at the bar. Our fourth visit in the last year. We like it. Staff, food, atmosphere and location. There are a few maintenance issues that could be addressed, e.g. dripping taps, shower door off runners and touch up of decor in places. We expect to return.”

”Our stay was great. The only disappointment was the shower. It wasn't very powerful and the temperature was unreliable. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly. The continental breakfast was very good so it wasn't necessary to order additional cooked items. ”

”What a lovely hotel! This kind of hotels is the reason we love to visit UK; they are unique, beautifully decorated and the service is wonderful! The room was tiny but beautiful and it had everything we needed. It was very quiet and warm. The breakfast was very good and the dinner at the pub was excellent. We would love to go back!”

”Room was clean and warm but we were there for a week and although there was no room maintenance they could at least have serviced the waste bins and replenished the coffee etc. bar service was not open many times during the day which was poor for a hotel. Wi-Fi was not the best with the television often buffering and going off. Spa was more of a leisure centre swimming pool than a true spa experience ”

”Staff-Angelika was very helpful n caring . when the restaurant was closed early due to staff shortages. She was able to open for me to buy drinks. Stayed in superior room- Room was clean, spacious and well equipped. My son was happy could move around the mounted TV any angle he wanted to play his games. Hotel was close to my daughter’s uni accommodation. Will stay here again. Blessings ”
