We travel out of town weekly for soccer and I have never felt more unwelcome by hotel staff at checkin. My salon and I arrived and were told no rooms were available for checking and to come back despite having a reservation. I dropped my son off with his team and went back to the lobby and watched the same staff Mem proceed w check in 5 guests despite being told no rooms were available yet. Mere minutes after I asked. She then proceeded to tell every one of those guests and any guests walking by to go ahead and complain about the soccer team and she would get them kicked out.
I took off my hat and coat and when back to the counter to check in by myself. Had zero problems giving me a room when I was alone. She then told me to complain about the soccer teams so she could kick them out and how made comments about how awful their parents were. I was gobsmacked by her behavior, comments, and attitude towards guests at 3:00 p.m. she also had no idea that I was one of those parents and the team manager who made the reservation for 19 families. Guess I will skip hotel when we are in town I next month…
