This spacious vacation home in Wiesbaum opens onto a quiet courtyard. The entrance leads to the entryway, which is adjacent to the bathroom with a shower. On the first floor is the spacious living room with a fireplace (pellet-burning) and access to the balcony. The open, spacious dining room, the kitchen with a Senseo coffee maker, a bathroom, and three bedrooms are also located on the first floor.

Through the garage—where a ping-pong table, a pool table, and a foosball table are available for your use—you can access the garden with a terrace, a lawn for sunbathing, and a former silo that has been converted into an attractive pavilion. By arrangement with the landlord, you may use the freezer.

The popular Kyll Bike Trail attracts both cyclists and hikers. In any case, the entire area is a true hiker’s paradise. Discover the nature reserves in the Bolsdorfer Tälchen recreational area or one of the many maars in Schalkenmehren, Ulmen, or Daun. The Kronenburger and Freilinger lakes are particularly well-suited for swimming, as are the numerous swimming pools and saunas in the Hillesheim region. Visit Kasselburg Castle with its eagle and wolf park in Gerolstein, the Eifel Zoo in Lünebach, or the deer and wild boar park with a summer toboggan run in Daun.

And here’s another tip: The 1.5-kilometer-long barefoot trail in Hillesheim is fun for all ages. Join a guided tour of the mill in Birgel. The mill has a restaurant and sells its own products, such as mustard, bread, and fruit liqueur. Stroll through Hillesheim, Gerolstein, and Prüm, and discover the charming town of Bad Münstereifel, 40 km north of Birgel. You’ll find shopping opportunities in both Hillesheim and Jünkerath. All of these towns are just under 5 km away, as is the nearest train station (Lissendorf). Another highlight for all motorsports fans is undoubtedly the Nürburgring, which is just a 20-minute drive away.
