Beachfront top flr 1 br condo at Summer Sands

Welcome to Summer Sands and relax in this quiet beach block condo, at one of the top beaches in the country. This top-floor unit has a pool view at the front door and you can also see the ocean from the bedroom window.

In summer, condo usually rents from Saturday 4:00 p.m. check-in to Saturday 10:00 a.m. check-out, unless the calendar shows some partial week availability.

Linens, blankets and towels are not provided, please bring your own.

-- The condo --
• Sleeps four people on a queen bed in bedroom and a queen-size sleeper sofa in living room.
• Air conditioners in both living room and bedroom, which is rare in Summer Sands. There are ceiling fans in both rooms as well.
• Cable TV and Netflix are both available. 32 inches TV in living room and 50 inches TV in bedroom.
• High speed Xfinity WIFI, which is well suited for remote work or school.
• Well equipped kitchen with stove, full-sized refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven, drip coffee maker, dinnerware, cookware, grill tools, basic spices.
• Retractable screen door. Two lounge chairs and a table to enjoy balcony.
• One assigned off-street parking spot for the unit. Free street parking across the street on a first-come first-serve basis.

• Two heated pools with a fenced kiddie area(Usually open from Memorial day weekend to late September)
• Free assigned parking for one car
• Five sundecks with lounge chairs
• Coin laundry on each floor
• Six outdoor gas grills
• Elevator access
• Outdoor shower
• Quiet and away from the hustle and bustle of Wildwood. There is a shuttle bus stop located at the corner of this property
• An arcade and restaurant are located across the street at the El Coronado. They are open for breakfast and lunch.

• Zero tolerance policy for cannabis smoking on the Summer Sands property. Any guest caught smoking marijuana will be asked to leave upon their first offence, enforcing a strict zero tolerance policy.

• Additional fees and taxes may apply
• Photo ID may be required upon check-in

Missed the mark

Property was not cleaned prior to our stay. There was a dirty q-tip under the dresser, blinds hadn’t been wiped down. Shower terribly dirty, not to mentioned stained from heavy rust in the water but the bath mat had someone else’s hair on it. My husband had to clean the tub drain because it was full of hair and wouldn’t drain. The furniture is less than desired. Definitely not what you would expect to see at a beach house. The carpet in the bedroom is incredibly stained where you don’t want to walk around in your bare feet. Disappointing. Location was the only thing this unit had going for it. Several things on listing was not accurate.. I.e. no elevator or retractable screen door.

Summer Sands

It was wonderful being able to walk to the beach and I loved the city of Wildwood Crest, but the room was a disappointment. The range burners were filthy, night light in bathroom didn’t work, light above bathroom sink was out, bed light had no plug in, door curtain was so long it pooled on the floor and caught in door when closed, chair cover didn’t fit (too big), cooking pan was burned on bottom, couch pillow was torn, toilet ran after flushing and the lamp beside couch didn’t work.

I broke my heel a few days before we left and so we didnt get to do as much as i wanted but staff and all neighbors were wonderful and id love to go down again next year and really enjoy the full experience!! Host was wonderful too by answering all our questions throughout the process.

We had a wonderful time in Wildwood Crest. The condo was clean and nicely laid out. It was pleasantly decorated, the bed was comfortable, as well as the LR seating. We overlooked the pool. The beach was just at the end of the block. It was very convenient. The owners were very easily reached. We enjoyed our our stay and recommend it to others.

Location is Everything

This cozy and inviting property is perfect for a small group or family to have a clean, organized, and well placed location to stay while in Wildwood. SO close to everything you could need - restaurants, groceries, pharmacies, etc. But the best was the less than 5 minute walk from doorstep to beach chair. We had an absolute ball - our son loved the ocean, we had gorgeous days, and this condo made it all that much better. Well appointed, comfortable bed and space to hang out along with onsite pools and patio space made this home even better for us. You will not be sorry staying here.

Beautiful cozy place close to the ocean

The owners were available with any questions. The place was cute and cozy. Small but perfect for a couple or small family. Everything was clean & they even had plates, cookware and lot of other things that were helpful, just had to bring own linens & towels which was not a problem. Less then a block walk to the beach which was great & outside showers for after, it is far from the boardwalk but not a far drive and we enjoyed how quiet it was so definitely worth it! We would love to stay here again! Thank you Elaine and Jay!

Fully stocked kitchen?

My family stayed for our family vacation. We like to avoid going out so much by cooking. The condo has no dishwasher or oven which is workable and was visible in one picture. There is not a pot on site big enough to cook pasta in. The one usable pan was bent and everything stuck to it to the point that no pancakes could be made in it even with cooking spray. There are no kitchen trash bags that fit the cans provided so you are basically tossing the trash in the can. The TV had no cable service. It was set up for streaming only which the only provided account was Netflix. I basically used my own Disney Plus account all week. Outside of that the condo was clean and comfortable although small. The walls had visible patches due to unmatched paint and the bedroom closet door does not stay on the track. We enjoyed our vacation more despite the condo. Mostly thanks to our crock pot.

Summer Sands vacay

The Summer Sands property was perfectly located a block from the beach making it an easy walk for my 3 year old. The property was clean and spacious for my family and we really enjoyed the added bonus of 2 heated pools with the ocean being so cold this time of year. The property owners were very responsive and extremely helpful in answering any questions we had during our stay. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing family trip on the Jersey Shore.
