"I love Arcata. The square has too many homeless people, and some are pretty aggressive. After travelling all over the country, i should add that this is an issue everywhere and not just Arcata. It is a nice old original hotel and i enjoyed it alot. I will happily stay there again."

"Really surprising great stay. For the price I was worried what the catch was but it was clean staff was friendly and the room was comfortable. Our shower didn’t have hot water but when we let them know on our way out they seemed very apologetic and seemed like they were on their way to check it out right then. The walls are a little thin if you’re a light sleeper. You could hear people opening their doors. "
