”We enjoyed our stay. It was a beautiful cottage on a very nice pond. We enjoyed kayaking, eating our meals on the deck overlooking the water, and enjoying a fire every night. It also was only a couple hours away from Fort Ticonderoga, so we enjoyed going there one day. ”

”Near Brattleboro and great restaurants and shopping, but remote for privacy and scenic views. The cottage was quite clean and had everything we needed. Got a bit lost when we were close, and the hosts actually drove out to where we were to help us find it. Comfy bed (we only used one bedroom), well-stocked pantry. Overall wonderful experience. ”

”The Honey Bear Cottage is adorable. The cottage is well stocked and immaculate. The adjustable bed is extremely comfortable. We did not get to use the fire pits or the upstairs bedroom but we did get to enjoy Big Pond, using the kayak and pedal boat. The hostess, Linda Jane is very attentive to your needs. Watching the stars from the deck is amazing. I would love to stay again. Very relaxing!”

”Very comfortable beds! This property is what you would expect from a cottage in Vermont, but there's so much more! We were surprised by the very well equipped kitchen and the vicinity to Woodford State Park also worked out really well for us. Would definitely recommend!”

”Everything was super clean and comfy, and some of the furniture was evocative of a different time, like Grandma's house. I do think the house could use some minor updates, tho, (i.e. new faucets in sinks and shower). The location is top-notch for enjoying the Village!”

”Wonderful property! Check-in was effortless, and communication was excellent. The property had the southern charm my family and I desired, with ample space. The kids and our dog Rider had a ball. All the amenities you could think of, just in case you may have forgotten something. The quiet and serene nature of the property was beautiful, and I am so happy we chose to stay here. It is a historic house with nice modern updates and a country appeal. Thank you for making our weekend pleasant...

”We had a truly wonderful stay. The cottage and property are beautiful, peaceful and very special. Great views! Our host thought of everything, it's very comfortable and lovely. Best place to stay in Southern Vermont! Don't miss the Tiny Bread Box on Saturdays; it's just up the road. We'll defiantly be back for another visit.”

”The house was everything we wanted and more. Loaded with space, kitchen supplies, comfort, a grill, gorgeous stone fireplace. The location on. sleepy back road in the woods was beautiful and quiet. The only complaint is that they make you take your trash with you when you go. There was a pass for the local dump which helped offset the inconvenience. Otherwise, A+”

”We were 10 family members attending a cousins wedding. We loved all the sleeping spaces the kitchen and the bathroom rooms were updated clean and nice. We could walk to town for breakfast or across the street for forgotten items. The neighborhood isn’t beautiful but once inside the house or looking at the backyard- it’s easy to forget that ”
