”Before booking our two rooms for two nights, I called the hotel specifically to ask whether there were any restrictions on pool access. I was told there were none. When we arrived on the Friday evening with time to use the pool, we were informed that children's hours operated differently and we had missed the permitted window. This directly contradicted what we'd been told on the phone.
When my wife raised this calmly at reception, pointing out that I had called ahead to ask exactly this...

”Overall a nice hotel highlighted by Bri on reception and many other helpful and friendly staff. Their was no TV remote (should have been checked I think by house staff) however the staff did all they could to find another and sort the problem. Our family room had lots of space and everything was clean. Breakfaat was good as were the facilities of pool, sauna, jacuzzi. Our only change would be not to have dogs staying; one dog howled for a good while at 7.30 am on the sunday: I think guests had...

”Beautiful period property with modern additional building which gives guests the best of both worlds. Stunning grounds, lovely spa facilities and enjoyed a hot stone massage. Food and drinks were spot on too. Perfect relaxing few days away.”
