”I came here by myself to get away from the kids for just one 24 hour period over the whole entire year. I was praying for a bit of peace and to be able to treat myself. Hand on heart can say this place did not disappoint! A lovely warm welcome when I arrived. I booked a double bed with sea view and it was perfect. Bed was ridiculously comfy. The Inn is situated in a perfect location so I took a wander down to the cove late evening and early morning. It was so peaceful. I dined at the restaurant...

”Staff are worth their weight in gold and the Canford boasts some heavy weights. Take a walk along the nearby promenade and take in the surrounding area and its wealthy residents. Food at breakfast and dinner was superb. This establishment like so many other places is a dog friendly hotel and bar. On a damp day, your nose will remind you. I tried to plug in my firestick at the back of the telly but was put off by the avalanche of dust. Bathroom window is losing the fight against the ivy growing...

”Beautiful, cosy 14th century inn with rooms. Picture postcard perfect and in a great location for walks and a short drive to Tisbury High Street. Food in the pub was excellent as was choice of drinks. Plenty of car parking right opposite”

”Stayed for a couple of nights, wish we could have stayed longer! Room was bigger than expected, clean and lots of light, comfy bed,. Food delicious, cocktails and drinks great, staff friendly and welcoming and a besutiful setting by the river and lush gardens. Hope to return again. ”
