”The instructions for entry were misleading & it took over an hour to work out what they meant. There were 3 steep & sharp steps to the front door & no hand rail. The dining room furniture was a table on wheels which wouldn't lock, no chairs but 2 wooden benches from a garden set. Neither lavatory had a properly fitting seat. ”Easy check in and good communication. House was in a central location within a nice 20 min walk to Poole quay past lots of shops. We also visited Poole park which was very close by and had a great walk around the lake. We only stayed 1 night but the property was furnished to a high standard with comfy beds. The parking was very tight, husband is a HGV driver so was fine but i would have struggled! Bean bags would be useful so everyone could sit together in living room. Minor things though and...

The Stable is on a site with quite a few other holiday lets, all qwerky and luxurious in their own right. ”Nice property to stay in for a short break. 4 adults and 2 children (4&1) - plenty of space for all of us. Toys in the property for the kids. Not far to beach & supermarket by car. Shame about the 2 cars being restored next door and the neighbour on an old office chair drinking opposite. Make sure you take the bins out and do the dishwasher when leaving etc No cleaners are coming to do it when you leave - you will be messaged to make sure you have read the checkout orders.”

"Veryy nice hotel. You check in in the middle of English countryside, and the staff is like in a 5-star hotel in New York or Singapore. The building is like you can expect in England, a bit worn down, with the stairs making a sound when you’re going up. The you get to the room. Room is a standard, high end / old English hotel room. Then you go to the bathroom. That’s again the 5-star hotel in Singapore! If you are planning to stay in Southampton, but are willing to go with the 20-30 minute drive, ther definitely choose this hotel. Very nice experience. On top of everything else, there is a Ferrari dealership just a couple of minutes of walking away, so If you have the budget, you’ll definitely get a aouvetthat you won’t get from anywhere else…"
