”Room was clean and beds comfortable. Breakfast wasn't in with the price, but we ate there both mornings and the food was good. Staff were very pleasant and helpful.”

”All staff polite and helpful, although they need more staff , front main doors could do with being automatic as its hard to push while carting your luggage through, meals were good ( can recommend omelette) . Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff regardless of how busy they were”

”We enjoyed breakfast though would have liked more fruit. The room was a little cramped but met our needs. The hotel was in a good location for our visit.”

”Stopped here for a few nights as we had a wedding to attend. All was good though I am a light sleeper and did have trouble due to a low pitched hum that persisted through the night. As we weren't staying long we didn't ask to move to a quieter room. If you are a light sleeper I would suggest you make it clear when you book that you need somewhere quiet. The food was good and reasonably priced and the bar prices were not as steep as some we have encountered in other hotels.”

”The ceiling was leaking liquid down the bathroom wall. The room was not set up for 2 people. There should be a shelf in the shower to hold shampoo, wash gel, etc. Could not figure out how to turn on towel warmer. Upside is the you g lady at the reception desk was very responsive. ”

”The room was small, but was clean and tidy, and had all the advertised amenities. The staff were more than helpful - I had to leave each morning by 07:15, but breakfast was advertised as 07:30 onwards...the manager arranged for the kitchen to open @ 06:30, just for me, so I could have a cooked breakfast before departure each day! How good is that? The breakfast was piping hot, and swiftly served - the evening meals were also hot, tasty and rapidly served. I have no hesitation in recommending the...

”Nice, comfortable bedroom but you could hear the noise from the road. View to a meadow. English breakfast ok, but I missed cheese and cold cuts on my slice of bread. Gym was good. Nothing to do within short walking distance, and I didn't find a nice route for evening walk either. I stayed here because had a meeting here, but next time would opt for a hotel in town.”
