”Great views. Staff were great. Issue with the hot tub the first night there but was fixed the second night just too crowded to use. Large spacious rooms - very clean. Beds were quite squishy. Could be updated. ”

”The place was dirty, the people staying next door were up screaming and slamming furniture against the wall and going in and out of the room and building every 20 mins. The traffic kept us up all night, there is no staff on site to help with anything and the room smelled like dog a cigarettes. It sounded like a brothel all night and I unfortunately was there with my children. ”

”The staff at the Coast Bastion Hotel was very friendly, helpful, and welcoming. We received excellent service here. The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The room included air conditioning and we were able to adjust heating to a comfortable level. The view of the inner harbour was wonderful. There is a local mall, theatre, and restaurants, with some local retail/gift shops. Breakfast was not included but there is a very good restaurant on site. We would definitely stay here...

”The hotel was not cleaned. I was surprised when I opened the toilet there were drops there and not from mine and I has to clean it by myself Also there were little hairs on the towel in the washroom. It was gross i didn't use the towel at all. I am disappointed for the experience at there.”

”What a wonderful place to stay- great for couples and families- loads to do- giant connect four, volleyball, badminton, wood fire pits and propane ones, sauna, pool table, free mini golf and a lovely coffee bar. Staff were very friendly and accommodating and the view is spectacular! We will definitely return!”

”The Grotto Spa has been updated & is beautiful. Loved the assortment of saunas. Close by Coombs Market & Englishman’s River Falls and Parksville seaside beachfront park are a must see!! ”
