”The cabin was very clean, and communication with the hosts was excellent. They responded quickly and were very helpful throughout our stay. However, the amenities could use some improvement. The check-in process was more complicated than expected due to the amount of documentation that needed to be uploaded. Additionally, the checkout time was too early. With a 4:00 PM check-in and a 10:00 AM checkout, it felt like there was very limited time to enjoy the cabin beyond simply sleeping there.”

”We had been to Bonneville Hot Springs Resort before it closed about 10 yrs ago and although the building common areas and surroundings are still beautiful, it was really a shell of its former glory because it has been left without proper care. When we got to our room it was dirty - you could tell the room had just been rushed through when being cleaned. There were crumbs on the bed and dirt in the bathroom corners and the carpet had stains and was grungy and needed to be steam cleaned. The...

”We arrived before check-in time, but the desk staff was really helpful - gave us a call when the room was ready, so we were able to go on a bike ride around Hood River. I always appreciate older, classic properties, and the Columbia Gorge Hotel and Spa is a gem. Great, comfortable room, great food at Valentino's, and grounds that make you want to explore. The price was great, and we'll stay again the next time we're in town.”
