  • Looking for a fantastic holiday retreat in a fabulous location, then welcome to Fellhaven Lodge. With three superb bedrooms, the master ensuite and a modern and cosy open plan living and kitchen area, where better to spend a weekend or longer? This self catering holiday lodge will comfortably accommodate up to 6 guests and 2 small dogs.

    A welcome and cosy retreat for couples or families in a beautiful part of the Lake District.

    THINGS TO NOTE...
    Arrival is from 4pm. Departure by 10am.
    Fellhaven Lodge is accessed by 4 wooden steps. The lodge is then on the same ground floor level
    Travel cot and highchair are available to rent on request (please bring your own linen for the travel cot, as this is not provided)
    Hen and Stag parties are not permitted at this lodge or on the Park
    A security deposit is required at this property for all single sex groups under the age of 25 and for a group booking of 3 or more under the age of 21

    Complimentary WiFi is provided by the park and subject to fair usage guidelines. Quality and reliability of connection will vary based on the number of people using it, prevailing weather conditions and therefore may be limited or slower than you are used to WiFi is for personal use only and is not intended for high data usage, gaming and/or use for business purposes. This is only suitable for page browsing and sending emails. Bookings cannot be accepted if they are solely reliant on the provision of uninterrupted and unlimited Wi-Fi. We are not held responsible or liable for the WiFi on the park. If you encounter any issues with the WiFi, please contact park reception.

Fellhaven Lodge.

This was our 3rd stay at this lodge, it’s a lovely lodge with everything you need for your stay. The lodge is on a nice quiet site in a picturesque valley, lovely place if you want a relaxing peaceful break or great place for walking.

Fellhaven is a lovely lodge I would recommend to anyone wanting a nice quiet break away, it's in a lovely spot on the park, it was our second time of staying at this lodge & we really enjoyed it.

Check in was quite easy. The email provided all of the details required. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our meals. There were also some games and toys for our granddaughter to use. Nice quiet location in the Lake District.

Fellhaven Lodge, Limefitt Park Lake District Cumbria,

We had a lovely week at Fellhaven Lodge, The Lodge was lovely & clean & had everything we needed & more , it was in a quiet area of the park which suited us fine, it is a credit to the owners & would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a nice quiet break., in a beautiful Lodge in the Lake District.

Nice lodge inside outside needs attention especially the slippy decking which was rotting in places!

Clean spacious and well equipped but was missing a clothes horse! Slipped on decking very dangerous!

Wonderful stay in a beautiful location

We really enjoyed our stay. The lodge was clean, comfortable and well equipped. It felt welcoming and homely. The site itself is lovely and our children enjoyed paddling in the stream. Would recommend.

Decking

Great location, good walks, pub on site, also one about a mile walk. Ten minute drive from Windermere.Only complaint is the outside decking area could do with some TLC especially with the better weather coming

Great Lodge

We've been to Limefitt Park many times and Wansfell is up there with the best. Clean, warm and has everything you need for a stay in a lovely setting in the lake district. Will definitely return and highly recommended.

Beautiful lodge

We had a great long weekend at fellhaven. What a beautiful spacious lodge with lots of space for the family to enjoy and relax. With the large dining table to play games on in the evening and large decked area to enjoy the sunset with a drink of two. We felt like we were away from it all in the picturesque surroundings but only minutes away from lovely bowness and all the amenities there. Can’t wait for the next opportunity to visit.

Beautiful lodge

I came with my sister and my grown up children and had a lovely time. The lodge is fully equipped with everything that you would need on your break away. It’s very modern, clean and very comfortable. The park is beautiful and lovely to walk around and to call at the pub on sight for a drink too. We will definitely be returning to stay here and highly recommend it. Thank you for a wonderful weekend

Lovely stay

The lodge is lovely, comfortable and was spotlessly clean for our arrival. Located in a quiet part of the park with the bonus of the pub not being far away. The bedrooms were a delight and the lodge has every amenity available that you would require on holiday. My only observation would be the outside area could do with a little TLC but as it rained most of the week we were there it didn't affect us. Excellent customer service from Lakes Cottages and Lodges.

Lovely week at the lakes

We were so lucky and had a very comfortable clean lodge set in a beautiful location (not our original choice as we had originally booked a different camp that fell through last minute ) however we all said we really enjoyed our stay We were also so lucky with the weather because we had wall to wall sunshine The scenery was stunning It’s a shame the price of the lodge is so high during school hols because some families would really struggle with the price All In all great x shop onsite has limited foods but there are some supermarkets not too far away xx

Fellhaven review

Excellent lodge in a stunning location. Spotlessly clean, a real home from home. If I was to be really picky I would say the tv in our bedroom didn't have a remote control( or we couldn't find it), 2 of the bedrooms didn't have mirrors and a sieve would have been handy. This is not a criticism but maybe worth looking at and it didn't spoil anything, no big deal . We would definitely book this lodge again! We all had a fantastic week.

Mid week Break

The lodge is nice and comfortable on a quiet area on the site. The view from the decking is lovely and the bedrooms very comfortable, but it is in need of some TLC. There are various little things, that could be sorted and it would make a big difference. The blinds need looking at and the en-suite radiator needs a clean. The outdoor area also needs a spruce up and a couple of the outdoor chairs need replacing. This said we would stay again.

Stay in July for week.

Fellhaven is a lovely lodge. It has everything you need for your stay. Beds are comfortable and plenty room in living area. Grandson loved the games console not that got much playing time as we were blessed with little rain and sunny days. I would point out the fencing on patio in few places appears that the wood is rotted through but didn't effect enjoyment of patio. The only other negative was sadly the over whelming smell of wet dog in main bedroom no matter how much we aired the room and ensuite it didn't lessen, but also didn't ruin our stay. On saying that we would return to the lodge in the future.

A peaceful week in the lakes

We arrived at Fellhaven and managed to unpack the car before the rain started and our Tesco delivery came - perfect timing! The lodge was bright airy and clean. The Tesco driver slipped on the steps (there is a sign saying slippy when wet!) There was ample room for our groceries, with a fridge and a freezer. Cooking/kitchen facilities were great! We could’ve done with a couple of Pyrex bowls, wooden spoons and a fruit bowl! The bedrooms were clean and comfortable but we really could do with having mirrors in all bedrooms rather than just the main bedroom - which proved difficult when having to dry and style hair! The decking needs a good clean and dome work/replacement of boards there’s a couple of boards rotten and with holes and there’s an area at the front that’s very rotten, weak and almost gives way. The rattan sofa also needs attention. We had. As problem with the heating…. We had none for 24 hours or so, but Chris from Lakes Cottages was absolutely brilliant, he brought us a fan heater for the short term and brought an someone to override the thermostat to ensure we were warm. Apart from the above it’s a beautiful lodge, the staff are so very friendly, the whole site is very dog friendly. We would definitely come back to this site, we would 100% book with lakes cottages and lodges in the future, and we would go to the same lodge again.
