Lomamökit – Windermere

”Right by the lake, clean and spacious for 5. 2 bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs. And a powder room at the entry. The parking lot was secure/gated. No chairs on the deck and the grill was not working but we knew that beforehand..The location was really good.”

”My first impression was WOW!!!! Everything was just as is in the pictures. This was a very family friendly accommodation. There were games, toys, and the kid's bathroom had the whale over the spout. The kitchen was fully stocked with appliances, dishes, utensils, silverware and more. There was a whole spice drawer. Amazing. Loved that the Keurig was a coffee pot and could use pods too. There was grill, which we used. Plenty of firewood to use the outdoor firepit, which we did, twice and...

”We had a great stay, the place was extremely clean and the perfect space for what we needed. The fire pit and chairs were a lovely place for us to sit and chat. Everything we needed for cooking was accessible and ready for us. The host was extremely easy to get in contact with, and very helpful. My only suggestion for future guests is to make note of the access code before arriving as there is spotty service before connecting to wifi (no fault of the hosts!). Overall great place to stay, would...

”We recently stayed at this cottage outside of Gravenhurst, and it was by far the worst vacation rental we have ever experienced. The property was not just dated—it was filthy and appeared to have been neglected. Upon arrival, there were no kitchen cloths, no paper towels, and only a 2 half rolls of toilet paper with no extras provided. The cottage smelled strongly of cigarette smoke mixed with mould. The dishwasher was full of partially cleaned dishes, and several kitchen cupboard doors were...

”Terrible Experience – Property Was Nothing Like the Listing This was one of the worst accommodation experiences we have had, and it completely ruined our long weekend plans. The property was extremely dirty and dusty, poorly maintained, and nothing like what was advertised on Expedia. Here are the major issues we experienced: * Poor cleanliness: The property was dusty and dirty, including dirty dishes in the kitchen. * Safety concerns: The ceiling was falling apart, the stairs were broken,...

”The premise of the compound is run down, and not clean/tidy. The inside of the house was nice, however the foot of the couch is broken, rooms have damp smell, AC is not working, warning of 200$ fine if garbage was not brought with the guest.”
