The breakfast, infinity pool, hot tub, spa massage, and oceanside chaise lounges were the perfect combination. I found the experience to be a good value given how much less you get for the same price closer to Bar Harbor.”

”Wonderful and welcoming "old school" motel on the Rockport/Rockland border. Beautiful trees and greenery insulate the property from the road noise of Route 1. Our room had a back porch looking out on trees and flowers. Friendly staff welcomed us, and greeted us again for our free and delicious breakfast on the breezy cool porch of the main house. My wife and I will stay here again on our next trip to Maine. Five Stars!”

”The cottage was super ‘comphy’ and perfect for the two of us and had everything that we needed! The owner was fantastic and told us about all the things that we should do while there! Our pup was very welcomed and I knew he was safe if we needed to leave him for dinner. It wasn’t far from Camden/ Rockland/Rockport, which is where we spent a lot of time when not at the cottage. We will definitely suggest it to others and be staying with them again!!”

”Beautiful setting overlooking the water. Small historic inn with some upgraded amenities due to renovations. Very peaceful with lovely sun room for continental breakfasts and outdoor patio for watching sunsets and frolicking seals. Close to Camden and waterfront restaurants. I hope to return again.”

The proprietor was friendly and welcoming, and the location is convenient to Camden, Rockport, Lincolnville, Northport, and Belfast.”

”It was home away from home...so comfortable, relaxing and welcoming. Kim, the owner/innkeeper is a gem, with tons of suggestions that fit our style. The porch and gardens offered tranquility, and the morning breakfast was divine. Centrally located, yet just out of the hustle and bustle of downtown. Simply perfect!”

The rooms are what we expected for this type of preserved property, not spacious but again, what we expected. Comfortable bed, quiet and walkable to everywhere downtown. I would highly recommend.”

”Room was clean upon arrival. Bathroom had a urine smell that was unpleasant, although the motel was recently renovated. The room was loud due to traffic and the A/C unit was blasting when on. This was the most uncomfortable thing. I slept with headphones and my children used earbuds. Overall we had a ok stay.”

”Fireside suites is an independent motor lodge that has a beautiful location overlooking Belfast Harbor with a private rocky waterfront and sweeping lawns. We had a waterfront room with outdoor deck and 2 chairs . The room was spacious and well designed and decorated. The mattress and bedding were very comfortable. The bathroom was well equipped and clean. The pool and hot tub and sauna were great. Free towels provided. Coffee and tea were provided 24 hrs a day in the lobby. Nice elevator . The...
