”This was the worst Marriott property I have stayed at. If you stay there don't accept staying in room 108. I was next to the kitchen where they prepare the free brunch. I heard banging on the next room off and on from about 7-8:30 AM. Also, people who I assume were staff were talking right outside my door early in the morning. I was in a rush to get ready to go out and meet friends for dinner and as I went to get ready and take a shower I discovered that I did not have any towels. There were...

”I stay here often so to see that the room I was given this last time was in poor condition surprised me. In addition to being asked several times if I was checking out (this was at around 9am) and constantly reminding me that check out is at 11am was a bit too much for me.”

”The hotel overall is run down. Our 1st room had very wet carpet. The second room needed a thorough cleaning. The walls were dirty. The bath tub was dirty. Their was long hair on the bathroom floor and part of a weave in bathroom trashcan. The beds were comfortable. It was a suite and the couch and chair were extremely dirty.”

”The cleanliness could have been better..we had to ask for new sheets and pillow cases..as someone that is a manager for janitorial business, I would have hoped it would have been more than it was! We had to change our own bed bc there was no staff to do it. Then I noticed the cleaner in the morning was using the same mop water in every room..I get being short staffed but managing comes first so that’s where it starts!! Do better..”

”The staff was accommodating and worked to get me a ground-floor room. I made a mistake when booking the room and accidentally selected a smoking room. There was only one non-smoking room left on the ground floor, and it was an upgrade. The staff worked with me on the price so that I could get that room. The room and property were clean. There was ample parking. Only a short drive to downtown Aiken with its shops and restaurants.”
