”You can't beat the view of the Albemarle sound from the living room and brand new dock below. Watched eagles catch their dinner right off the dock and my husband caught quite a few catfish himself. Bed and couch were comfortable. Got lucky with sunset one evening and words cannot describe the beauty. Edenton is quite charming. Downtown Roots made a mean Cuban sandwich and 309 Bistro & Spirits was wonderful! We day tripped to Elizabeth City (Museum of the Albemarle) and Fort Raleigh and Manteo...

”The Bungalow is well laid out, spacious, well furnished and in a fantastic location for exploring Edenton. The furniture is comfortable and the kitchen has everything we needed to be able to eat some of our meals at home. We enjoyed the little screened in porch, too. It is definitely a well designed living space and we hope to be able to come back for a longer visit sometime soon.”

”Back again but for 5 weeks! Waterwinds is even more beautiful than I remember. Brand new deck, beautiful and comfortable furnishings. Fully equipped kitchen with all the amenities. Gorgeous private landscaped waterfront setting. Water on canal side is shallow enough for my 3 and 5 year old great granddaughters to swim. Will be booking next year for sure!”

”We have stayed here about 7 times (honestly lost count) and we always enjoy it tremendously and look forward to our next visit. Sitting out by the water is so peaceful and the house always comes stocked with just about everything that we ever need. ”We were in the area to fish a Major League Fishing event on the Chowan River. The house and yard are very well maintained. The back porch has nice furniture, and a great view of the Sound. Beautiful sunsets! An added bonus was how friendly the neighbors on both sides are! Definitely plan to come back!”

”Words just can’t completely express how excellent this little cottage on the river is! We wanted to have alone family time away from it all, and we literally stumbled across this wonderful place. We’ve never booked anything through Vrbo so we didn’t know what to expect. When we checked in, EVERYTHING was absolutely perfect! Better than the description and pics!
