”We stayed here to experience the Rail Explorers Elk River tour, which makes the hotel’s location convenient if one is coming from Ohio. The beds were comfortable! The hallway carpets and furniture were all banged up or stained. The guests seemed a little rowdy the night we stayed, including an incessant yapping dog. ”This hotel offers decent value for money. Room was spacious, bed was ok and the bathroom clean. Plenty of parking available. The area this hotel is in doesn't seem super nice and as far as I know had limited food options especially later in the day. ”

”Sarah checked us in and was extremely helpful. We had arrived early and our rooms were ready for check in. She assisted with recommendations for hiking and restaurants in the area. We stayed for two days and had a lovely time. The staff was nice and courteous. Very nice rooms with updated amenities. Definitely recommend staying here and will stay here again if I'm back in the area”

”We have stayed there multiple times in the last three years and it used to be very clean. Now the carpets look like they are never vacuumed in the hallways. The room carpets that we have stayed in have large stains on them. The most recent stay, room 313 had a large stain by the couch in the living room and the couch had frayed cushions and the arm rests were extremely dirty. ”We stayed because we needed enough room for 5, that was good. The building is old and alittle run down. First the door wouldn't open, we finally got it to open. We closed the door and needed something else from the car and the door wouldn't open. After several tries we finally got it open. The attendant had to come and take part of the threshold off the bottom of the door,so we could get in and out. I wouldn't stay there again.”
