”Everything was wonderful, from the pillows and beds, roasted pretzels, beautiful rooms and house decor to claw foot bath tubs, breakfast and afternoon wine. Staff was nice not very talkative (maybe they are advised to just do their job, which they did beautifully)but they were pleasant. Would stay again and will recommend to our friends.”

”Such a wonderful, relaxing, and beautiful location. We drove up from Florida for a wedding near Pilot Mountain, and we're so glad we chose "A Mighty Oak" for our stay. Todd kindly offered to take us for a mini tour of the farm to see the cows, chickens and pigs. Our daughter fell in love with "Heart" (the special cow with a unique marking on her face; you'll just have to visit them to see where her name comes from). Our morning walks were fun and refreshing, as we enjoyed the slightly cooler...

”Comfortable, clean, and convenient location in downtown Statesville. We were in town for the Carolina Balloonfest and to visit some local wineries, so the location was great. Other guests were there for the Carolina Renaissance Festival which is just 30 miles south. Cheryl and Jason are warm people and pleasant hosts. The inn itself is historic and furnished accordingly. The breakfast is continental, which might be a concern for some potential guests but was not for us. We will definitely stay...

”This place will always be near and dear to my heart. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, the atmosphere was so cozy and loving I did not want to leave. It was a pleasure to meet Miss Jean Dailey and I hope to come back some time soon. Plus, the house is surrounded by some VERY delicious options for food. If you’re looking for a home-away-from-home getaway, that actually isn’t in the middle of nowhere, I highly recommend! ”
