Experience the freedom at the Acquit vacation home, a Finnish wooden chalet where space and comfort come together, both indoors and outdoors. Surrounded by nature and situated on the edge of a forest, this home offers the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

This detached, smoke-free vacation home accommodates up to 6 people. It is located in a small-scale park, 2 km from the center of Winterswijk and 500 m from the Hilgelo recreational lake. The garden borders the Bönnink estate, managed by Natuurmonumenten, which offers a beautiful view and is perfect for walking. There is parking for 2 cars. Acquit features a spacious upper floor with 3 bedrooms—one with a double bed and two with two single beds each. There is a very spacious bathroom with a sink, bathtub, shower, and toilet. Two bedrooms are equipped with roller shutters and screen doors.

Downstairs is a bright, furnished living room with French doors opening onto a terrace featuring an awning and privacy. There are several terraces so you can always find a spot in the sun or shade. There is also a patio set with outdoor furniture and a parasol. Acquit is equipped with free Wi-Fi and TV, and there is a wood-burning stove and underfloor heating. The living room has a built-in open kitchen equipped with, among other things, a dishwasher, a combination microwave, a refrigerator with freezer compartment, and a Senseo and coffee maker. There is an entryway with a separate toilet and an utility room with a washer and dryer. There are 5 bicycles in the shed that you can use to explore the beautiful surroundings!

The Achterhoek has been named the best cycling region in the Netherlands! The countryside around Winterswijk is one of the most valuable areas in the Netherlands and has been designated the Winterswijk National Landscape. Winterswijk features, among other things, the Steengroeve, vineyards, farm terraces, the Mondriaan Museum, a theater, and a fantastic shopping center with a large market twice a week (Wednesdays and Saturdays). There are plenty of restaurants and outdoor dining areas. Whether you want to relax in nature or explore the area, the Acquit vacation home offers the perfect base.
