”The Snug was very comfortable and well equipped. It was also very clean. I could not work the shower but I did not contact the owner so I am sure it would have been sorted if I had. It was only three nights and there was a bath so I did not. It was well located, quite near to Matlock Bath. The bed was comfortable and it was well decorated throughout. ”

”Really lovely stay. The room was spotless and exactly as we expected. Twin room with en suite shower and bath, situated above a tea room in Bonsall (approx. 5 minute drive from Matlock Bath). Decor was fresh and clean, bed warm and comfy and clothes storage more than adequate. Hospitality tray with hot drinks and biscuits and a selection of toiletries. The breakfast was outstanding. Amazing find and would highly recommend and definitely return.”

”There is a large car park but it can get busy at peak times. Register your car at the bar. Our fourth visit in the last year. We like it. Staff, food, atmosphere and location. There are a few maintenance issues that could be addressed, e.g. dripping taps, shower door off runners and touch up of decor in places. We expect to return.”
