”Bring earplugs &/or white noise. You’re sharing a home with the hosts, so sounds from their living area leak past interior doors. Kudos to them for being willing to share an attached dwelling with strangers — I don’t think I could! Other things to be aware of: You may be charged $25 extra if unable to check in at the appointed time. The short access road is bumpy, dusty gravel. Otherwise, all routes are paved. Room was very clean and nicely appointed. It was nice to meet their dogs and cats...

”This house was conveniently located to Yosemite (1-1.5 hrs depending) and only a couple hours from Sequoia National Park and King's Canyon. The town of Oakhurst was close enough for restaurants and groceries and gas for the car. The house was pleasant enough, but could use some TLC. The back patio and hot tub were nice for relaxing each evening after spending the day in the park. Communication with the host was good and timely.”
