”Beautiful hotel, second time staying for one night, breakfast included, evening meal have to book separately which was easy to do. Everything about this hotel, location, availability of rooms, staff and food was truly amazing. We will be booking again, probably near Christmas time.”

”Fabulous property with very helpful staff. Ran the local Parkrun and missed breakfast time but was made some fantastic bacon sandwiches when we both returned to the guest house. Staff was very accommodating which made the visit very enjoyable.”

”The Ramada at Charnock Richard was surprisingly good. The room was fine, the bed was comfy, the bathroom was clean and meals in the dining area were good. And it wasn't expensive by today's standards. Really this is as good as it gets in budget accommodation.”

”The bed was comfortable and in room amenities were good as well with a clean room The lack of air conditioning made it uncomfortable in the summer with the room situated next to a car park on ground floor with reduced privacy given windows had to be open The carpets do show their age I feel our stay was ok outwith all of this and it’s location ideal as short drive to motorway”

”Lovely large room . Well set out heating / cooling facilities made things very comfortable. Breakfast was well set out sadly we weren't able to take full advantage of what was on offer. Evenibg meal was also good value for money.”

”Not the hotel but a party came back from Manchester at 1.00am and kept us up all night and we checked out at 4.30am and no offer of changing rooms or anything but sorry.”

”Room was nice and overlooked Lord Street. Reception staff very accommodating, had several nice breakfasts and dinner. Bar drinks were good. No complaints. The bath/shower was a step up design and was super deep. Not sure it would work if you had disabilities.”

”This is no longer even a hotel, it is now a hostel run by a German A & O Hostels group. Everything you would expect to get in a hotel was gone. There are no amenities whatsoever in the rooms, there is no housekeeping, the staff is sub par as well as the breakfast which was terrible and lacking. I have stayed here multiple times when it was a Novotel hotel, and the change is staggering. The only thing not changed is the pricing. Will not be coming back.”
