Thorn house was loved by all of us, it had everything we needed, plenty of space and beautifully decorated. ”Had a lovely stay at Windsor cottage. Well presented, great amenities and the most comfortable bed in the master bedroom. Slept like a log! Ate out in local restaurants, which were lovely especially Alberto’s Italy. There are a couple of free parking areas in town 5-10 minutes away. ”Very lovely place, just how you would picture a countryside cottage to be! Great location. It’s private, tucked away near the entrance of Bourton-on-the-water, away from the crowds that’s visiting the village during the day. We enjoyed the short walk into the center of the village without worry about fighting for parking. It’s a perfect spot to base in the Cotswolds, and convenient to drive around to visit other villages. Highly recommended!”

"I booked a room, which turned out to be very cold. I booked this premium hotel to be comfortable, and I wasn't. I called about this in the evening and they came to fix it. I also called in the morning, but no one came. I might be old-fashioned, but back in the day there would be immediate compensation for a satisfactory resolution, i.e. free breakfast. Something like this would have made up for the issue, but nothing was offered. Feels like "thank you for your £200+, we dont care how it was for you, we are just happy to have your money". There are cheaper hotels nearby for a matching comfort level. "
