”We booked to stay for two nights in celebration of my sisters pending wedding. We were are a group of 10 women mid 30s to 50s. Thorn house was loved by all of us, it had everything we needed, plenty of space and beautifully decorated. There are shops near by and you get 30% off a specific chinese takeaway when staying at Thorn house. We explored Oxford, which is a 30 min drive. We really appreciated the free parking, as well as the thoughtful touches like tea, coffee, and all the kitchen utensils we needed. The beds were very comfortable, which made for a good night’s sleep. Our only suggestion would be to have a few extra pillows, but overall it was a wonderful stay and we’d happily come back!”

”Fantastic location for exploring many of the popular Cotswold villages. It’s easy to find and feels nice and private with it being one of 3 pods on the farm. Inside is presented beautifully and it’s spotless. Everything has been thought of down to spare batteries, coffee pods and women’s toiletries. Communication regarding how to find them and check in is easy to follow and prompt. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to come back as a base to explore more of the Cotswolds. ”

It’s private, tucked away near the entrance of Bourton-on-the-water, away from the crowds that’s visiting the village during the day. We enjoyed the short walk into the center of the village without worry about fighting for parking. It’s a perfect spot to base in the Cotswolds, and convenient to drive around to visit other villages. Highly recommended!”
