Jubilee Gardens, Wiveliscombe "The gardens were opened in 1977 ... to commemorate Queen Elizabeth II's Silver Jubilee. Now part of The Wiveliscombe Heritage Arts Trail, they were updated in 2004 by the addition of very fine sculpted gates and innovatively carved oak seats ... The Gates: Bristol-based sculptor, Steve Joyce, began by taking plaster hand-casts from a wide variety of local people aged between five and ninety. Footpath near Coate Farm. The footpath shown in 1520448 passes a pheasant, one of many around here as it approaches a gate through a hedge. Coate Farm can be glimpsed ahead across the valley.
Meadow near Wiveliscombe. The eastern end of 1518250, seen from the West Deane Way close to the southeastern corner. On the left in the hedge is the wall mentioned in 1518266, of which image this is a reverse view. The Way climbs the field above it, to the right of the hedge.

Amazing location, beautiful area. My room (14) needed a but of tlc but would definitely stay again. Best assets this hotel has is its staff, from reception to bar staff and restaurant. Special mention to Lil who went above and beyond to help and nothing was too much trouble, thank you ladies.

Checkin info was a breeze.Chris was an excellent host. He was there for any questions and was very accommodating. Granma's Cottage is charming. We loved the bath tub and the cosy kitchen. Great links from the train station at Tiverton Parkway. Thank you.
