The original Woking Muslim Military Cemetery was opened in 1917 by the British Government to counteract German propaganda After falling into disuse, it became overgrown and vandalised. It was listed in 1984 by English Heritage as a Grade II structure. Restoration efforts began in the 1990s, and eventually The Peace Garden was officially opened in November 2015.

”I was disappointed to find lots of full bin bags outside the property and there were no instructions on where the keypad was for entry so took a while to work out. I contacted the responder but he didn’t return my call. There was no tea/coffee or coffee machine in apartment. Also the layout was completely different with everything in one room! So nit much space to move around! Plus was in basement of building. ”

Hotellissa perhehuone on iso ja huoneen jääkaapissa ilmaista vettä ja limua. Aamupala kattava, munakkaan paistetaan oman toiveen mukaisesti. Kaikin puolin ystävällinen palvelu. Matkalaukun pystyi hyvin jättämään vartioituun säilytykseen ennen ja jälkeen yöpymisen."

"Huone oli pieni, mutta siisti. Ei kuulunut aamupalaa, mutta hotellin aulasta sai koneesta kahvia ja sekä oli leivänpaahdin ja mikro. Lisäksi pidimme, että huoneessa oli pieni jääkaappi. Henkilökunta oli ystävällistä ja siivous oli joka päivä hyvää. Hotelli oli hyvällä paikalla lähellä bussipysäkkiä ja metroasemaa. Alue oli rauhallinen."

"Kaunis, siisti huone, hyvän kokoinen. Kylpyhuoneessa laskutilaa lavuaarin kanssa. Hyvä ilmanvaihto, lämpöä sai toimivasti säädettyä. Hyvä suihku, suihkussa omille saippuoille hyvä laskutila. Mies kaipasi eteisen kaappiin hyllykaappia, johon tavaroita ja patjat olivat liian pehmeät joten niistä yksi tähti pois. Hotelli hyvällä paikalla. Hyvä monipuolinen aamiainen. Ystävällinen henkilökunta. Ehdottomasti tullaan tänne uudestaan. Oli hyvä loma, jonka mahdollisti ihana hotelli. "
