”Dawson Inn was cozy and a really nice place to stay. The manager was very nice and pleasant to talk to. The Breakfast wasn't the usual "Holiday Inn" type breakfast but it was all we needed. The room was clean and comfortable. The only issue was the directions given by Google Maps. It took us off on the wrong exit and into the backwoods country on a tiny narrow road and our destination was a wooded lot. I'm glad we weren't traveling at night - we might not have seen some of the hairpin...

”Beautiful suite that consisted of a living area with beautiful coffee bar, small frig and microwave. The decor and furnishings were so beautiful. The bathroom not only had a gorgeous shower but the floor marble tiles were heated! The bathroom was large with a nice size vanity and huge mirror. Our Friday night stay was a little loud outside pretty late. There was a big wedding reception at The General Lewis and we could hear the loud music. It finally quieted down around midnight. ”The unit was nicely appointed, clean, pet friendly (at a reasonable rate), in the downtown area, where restaurants, specialty shops, and historic features were all within walking distance. The bed was comfortable, the room was quiet, and the amenities were sufficient for our needs. We will definitely book a stay here again.”

It was just a half way point from VA beach to home OH. We had the best time.
